Hello,
Now that GeoDirectory Version 2 is in release candidate status I am trying to get my site ready.
I have a Custom Post Type called accountancy. I have setup a Detail Page template (GDV2 feature) and the page has a specific sidebar selected “Accountancy” sidebar.
However, when a new listing is created of the CPT “Accountancy” the sidebar setting is not applied to the new listing.
Can you help me understand how to make that setting for sidebar is supposed to carry over to the listings? It seems to me any listing created using that page should have the same setting. No?
If not, then I will need to create a new template? And I will need to name the sidebar in the template? Can you give an example, please, if that s required? I want to use the full width with sidebar on the left side. Thanks.
Hi,
Before of all debugging procedures and similar, please test if your described behaviour happens also using default wp theme (twenty seventeen). Let me know about this, since if the issue happens without our theme it may be something directly from their plugin.
What do you mean by “sidebar setting” the widgets ? from where you make those sidebar settings ?
