    I have a form plugin (eform) that did not render it’s shortcodes.
    I went through the usual routine with turning off all plugins changing theme etc . just to find out that the problem lies within the child theme.

    Even when I rename every other file or folder except the style.css in the child theme it doesn’t work.
    As soon as I switch to the main theme the form renders.

    Any idea how to proceed further?

    This is the content of my style.css sheet in the kleo child theme that breaks the rendering process of the forms:

    COPY CODE
    /*
    Theme Name:     Kleo Child
    Theme URI:
    Description:    Child theme for Kleo
    Author:         SeventhQueen
    Author URI:     http://seventhqueen.com
    Template:       kleo
    Tags:  one-column, two-columns, right-sidebar, fluid-layout, custom-menu, featured-images, post-formats, sticky-post, translation-ready
    License: GNU General Public License
    License URI: license.txt
    */

    /* Please add your custom styles below */

    And I have renamed the functions.php into xfunctions.php in the child theme so I assume it is not doing anything.

    Hi,

    To confirm, with the functions.php file name in the same format, and without any custom code within it the issue persists?

    It’s possible the function.php is still being read when renamed. Please try removing all custom code (after making a backup) from functions.php and test again.

    The same is true for any overridden templates, please remove them from the Child theme to check to see if the issue is coming from an override.
