Update to Sweetdate – broken frontpage

Help,
I just updated to the new Sweetdate. What happened is that everything on frontpage lost its position. Not everything…The columns below the front image is now on top of  the front image.
I try to sort it out in Elementor. In Elementor the columns that are supposed to be below the front image, which appears on top of the front image at frontend (like double exposure), are behind the front image in Elementor. To get hold of those columns, I had to remove front page.

But now I don’t know how to get the Register form on top of the front image…..Please help!
I tried putting an image and the the Register form on top of it, but it doesn’t allow me to. Then I tried to first put a Register form and then add a background to it, but the background image just shows within the Register form.

Please, how do I resolve this?
