Can’t edit Child functions.php file; WordPress thinks I don’t have a child theme… (?)

Hi – Recently some strange things have been happening:

1) I am unable to update the Kleo Child functions.php file (when I hit Submit button nothing happens; trying to edit text for homepage slider).

2) I am getting warning messages for the CSS Stylesheet that seem like WordPress thinks I am trying to edit the parent theme.

Would you please take a look and see if I have some setting messed up? I have done a lot of customization – all in the child theme to my knowledge.
