Hi i’ve created a multisite installation with three sites, the main site and two more sites. When i navigate to signup page on any site it redirects allways to main site signup page. Also, styles of this signup page are broken.

    Here’s an example.
    – main site url: ws.psicoactiva.com
    – “foro” site url: ws.psicoactiva.com/foro
    – “cursos” site url: ws.psicoactiva.com/cursos

All this url’s redirect to ws.psicoactiva.com/wp-signup.php
    – main site signup page: ws.psicoactiva.com/wp-signup.php or ws.psicoactiva.com/wp-login.php?action=register
    – “foro” site signup page: ws.psicoactiva.com/foro/wp-signup.php or ws.psicoactiva.com/foro/wp-login.php?action=register
    – “cursos” site signup page: ws.psicoactiva.com/cursos/wp-signup.php or ws.psicoactiva.com/cursos/wp-login.php?action=register

Can i change this behaviour so every site has its own signup page? and how can i repair the styles of signup page?

    Thanks

Hi, You should look over buddypress multisite functionality since it should be normal to happen like that since Buddypress is active only on the root install. You should read more on this and see this link because maybe it helps http://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/customizing/bp_enable_multiblog/

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Buddypress plugin is inactive in all sites including main one. I tried to remove the plugin and the problem is still there. The signup page remains unstyled also. I attach a screenshot.

Hi, That should come from another plugin since it is not the default wordpress login/register page

Hi, just recaptcha plugin were active and required Kleo plugins were installed also. Anyway i’ve done a fresh installation on localhost. Just upload and activate the theme, configure multisite with no plugins and access signup page from another browser and same result. Them i Try to install required theme plugins and disable Buddypress (as i don’t want to use it by now) and same problem.

I tried to activate “Twenty Fourteen” wordpress default theme and signup page shows ok.

It seems that default wordpress signup page is not styled. May be this? If buddypress is active, buddypress register page is shown and is styled ok.

    Thanks.

That looks odd and I don’t know why are you using that link to register instead of the default /register one that Buddypress adds

    Hi,

I’m not using “/register” page because buddypress is innactive.

I’ve created a new subdomain with a fresh installation.
This is the link to signup page: http://kleotest.psicoactiva.com/wp-signup.php

    This are the steps followed:
    – Install wordpress
    – Activate multisite
    – Create sites (site1, site2)
    – Set Allow register
    – Upload Kleo theme and activate to the net

    – go to main site
    – activate Kleo Theme
    – Install all Kleo required plugins
    – Set Buddypress inactive

    – go to site1 set kleo theme
    – activate Kleo Theme
    – Activate Kleo required plugins except buddypress

    – go to http://kleotest.psicoactiva.com/site1/wp-signup.php that redirects to http://kleotest.psicoactiva.com/wp-signup.php (non styled page)

I want a simple/standard wordpress signup page for my site by now. Why this page isn’t displayed correctly when buddypress is inactive?

    Thanks.
