I downloaded and installed 1.6.3 from Themeforest. The issue with “Blog” showing up as my home page title is fixed.
However I still have this odd issue (not present in 1.5) where if I select Appearance -> Themes OR if I try to update a plugin (any plugin) from the plugin page, I get a blank screen and the action doesn’t complete. Same thing happens with all plugins deactivated. Not sure if the issue is only with these two actions but that’s what I’ve discovered so far.
Any thoughts? Abe, I think your admin credentials should still work at http://www.sudnow.com/dev

So I still have an issue I had with 1.6.2 – after logging out, coming back later to log in I get directed to a blank page. If I then use the home page URL the page opens up and I’m logged it. If, however, I try to navigate to the dashboard I once again get a blank page.
Navigation from the menu to pages in the site seem to work as expected.
Hi, That can’t be from an update. Try to set WP_DEBUG to TRUE in wp-config.php and see what error you are getting

When I reload the home page I see this error in several places on the page:
Notice: Undefined variable: style in /home2/sudnowco/public_html/dev/wp-content/themes/kleo/vc_templates/vc_column.php on line 22
Please try to comment this line 125

BTW – I noticed that if I log in via the site menu I get the new login box, if I navigate directly to dev/wp-admin I get the older login with my logo above it. Is that expected behavior?

I’m going to talk to Bluehost about server side possibilities. I looked at the server logs but can’t make much sense of them.
Anyone else have WP issues with particular hosting services? Or services that are really good?
