Dear support,
Firstly, great job on the theme…
I was wondering if you could tell me please how to add an ‘Edit Profile’ button just like the ‘About Me’ one on members profile pages? Alongside would be perfect I feel. I realise that further down the page there is a little button where members can edit their profile, but I don’t think it’s visible enough, and easily missed.
What do you think?
All the best

When you click on the small profile button (top right of any page), you are directed to the ‘Activity’ stream. I think this causes confusion, because I’d expect to be able to ‘Edit Profile’ from this page, but can’t. I have to scroll down the page further and then click on the ‘Profile’ link (between ‘Activity’ and ‘Messages’) in order to edit my profile. I think this is easily missed…
A nice big button along side ‘About Me’ would solve the problem.
Thanks

The placements of the buttons, the look and the feel of that menu is very “back to the 90’s” compared to the rest of the site, which is pretty much awesomely great π
September 30, 2013 at 03:47 #3564SQadminKeymasterHi,
You can change the Profile link from header to go to edit page.
Search in header.php for
<?php bp_loggedin_user_link(); ?>
and replace with:
<?php bp_loggedin_user_link(); ?>profile/edit
The profile menu is mainly rendered by Buddypress and can’t do major changes to it. We know π

My site is not in English then I need to translate the PROFILE and LOGOUT button on the main menu.The translation I need is to pt_PT, but I want keep the button name for english too… I cant to do that with codestyling localization…
October 5, 2013 at 10:28 #3890AnchoraParticipantCodestylingLocalization works for me, though not through the childtheme, so try putting the languagefiles into the sweetdate/languages.
Also if CL wont work, then try PoEdit locally!October 5, 2013 at 18:09 #3904SQadminKeymasterUse codestyling localization plugin and translate the sweetdate theme string that belong to kleo_framework domain. After you translate click to generate the .mo file. You wordpress must be in your language for that to work
