Hi,
I need some CSS to change the checkbox (profile fields) styling back to the Buddypress default.
I’ve noticed that on page refresh it switches back to the Buddypress default box for a second or two.

November 27, 2014 at 01:06 #36824AbeKeymasterHi, if you want to change something you should enable your child theme and copy your templates there so on theme update they are not affected

Thanks for your response.
Are you saying that I should copy whichever page parts files I edit into my child theme folder?
Does that apply to any and all php and css files I edit?
Such as the ones in my plugin folder (bp-custom.php) and the custom_buddypress folder under themes/sweetdate .
Can I please get a response to my first question regarding the checkboxes.
December 3, 2014 at 00:08 #37390AbeKeymasterIt only applies to the basic wordpress template in the root of the theme and for the page-parts and page-templates folders
bp-custom should remain in plugins folder since is not affected by theme
for the checkbox you can disable form customization by removing the class named “custom” from wp-content/themes/sweetdate/members/single/profile/edit.php
