I’m not sure if this is an issue, or happening because I may have turned something off in the admin settings. But the users are not getting any notifications if someone likes or comments on their photos.
This is not good, if it is a dating site, and someone likes or comments on a photo, and the user gets no notification from buddypress or email, then that was really a ‘flirt’ and the user may never realise, and miss out on meeting their true sweetheart perhaps.
Is there any way to fix this? Can I please strongly suggest this be added in to the next update, if I’m not mistaken. This is really important for the users to have this information.
Perhaps have it trigger a script from a javascript onclick event, when user clicks on like or comments.

Cheers

April 1, 2016 at 15:33 #114092AbeKeymasterI am not sure if you should have received a notification. If you are sure that the plugin should send some notification try to look at your email server log and see if other emails are sent from your site. Maybe the plugin does not have that functionality. Try putting a question on their forums
