Hi 7thQ –
Please see screenshot.
When we have a menu link which has submenu links the parent link is NOT working – it’s dead.
We have two parent links that are dead when clicked on (About Us & Rental Services) – they are shown in the screenshot. When there was no submenu link under them they worked – but when the submenu link was added they went ‘dead.’ We can’t get them to work and we’ve tried recreating the page but that did not work either.
Please help us, thank you.

December 5, 2014 at 08:54 #37766FilipinasForForeignersParticipantI believe we may have found the issue – now we need the solution from you to correct this.
Please see the screenshot.
The parent menu item/link for ‘Rental Services’ is MISSING in the breadcrumb menu! So this we believe is the reason the menu items/links are ‘dead’ and not working.
Please reply with a solution we can implement into our code to correct this issue and insert the missing breadcrumb menu item/link, thank you.

December 5, 2014 at 10:16 #37778FilipinasForForeignersParticipantYes we know that so we actually created a real page for the parent menu (Our Services) and set the page attributes correctly for ‘Rental Services’ so now ‘Rental Services’ does display in the breadcrumb menu BUT it is still a ‘dead’ link in the dropdown menu.

Cheers.
January 24, 2015 at 02:11 #43286AbeKeymasterHi, if you want to have the same structure in the breadcrumb then you must have the pages hierarchical added. So one page should be the parent of the others when you edit the pages

Tks for you reply.I got your point: the breadcrumb is composed based on the declared page parent hierarchy – I thought it was enough to establish the hierarchy in Menu Appearance.
But there is another problem. When there is a Portfolio items in the breadcrubmb structure: the breadcrumb is composed like that: Home / Portfolio /portolio item # even if it was called from another page. The correct breadcrumb structure should be something like that, for example, Home/ Page Invoking the item / portolio item #. In this case, I cannot establish the parent page for the portfolio item.
Please see the attached screenshot to clarify the problem.
Cheers,
