Hi 7thQ –
We’d like to chnage the default view of the members carousel on the homepage.
Currently it is set to ‘Active’ but we’d like to change it to ‘Newest.’
Please let us know how to do this. Thank you.

Hello, there is no need to be a programmer to install a plugin.
If you want steps, here it is:
1. Go to plugins.
2. Add new plugin
3. Search for codestyling localization.
4. Install it.
5. Activate it
6. Go to Tools > Localization
7. Find Sweetdate
8. Edit language.
8. Create .mo file BUTTON.

I don’t know if Laura can remember each user abilities and you should have basic WP knowledge if you get into customizing themes. You can always hire a developer since our role is not to give lessons as much as we wanted.If you can’t act human then I will take the necessary steps to lock your account.

@ SeventhQueen we do our best to have super happy customers. Thanks for being our customer.1) We do NOT see any place to create a .mo file BUTTON – only a ‘generate mo-file’
2) How do you create a .mo file BUTTON?
3) And once we do create it what do we do with it?
Hello, you do not need to create a button, i just said to clikc on the button that generated the mo file, after you translate what you wanted, its just a save button.

Where do we ‘click on the button’? We can’t find anything with the words/text we are looking to edit.
Hello, this screenshot should help you, what you need to click after you translate is that “generar mo” but in english generate.

Hello, as i know you wanted to translate “Newest” from member carousel. So you should do what the attachments guide you.
1.Enter Localization From Tools Menu
2.Look for Sweetdate or any other plugin you want to translate.
3.Follow the screenshots to Scan The files, then Edit button.
4.Find the word you want to translate.
5.Click edit and translate it
6.Save your translation.

it was a misunderstanding 🙂normally you should hire a developer to help you with this kind of customizations but here goes, please add the code from the attached file to your sweetdate-child/functions.php so it will rewrite the theme shortcode. If you don’t know how to add it in your file then talk with somebody with PHP knowledge. I recommend also for future customizations since is not supported by our team here to make custom work. Hope you understand.
