On PC all looks great and scales, on iPhone the background is zoomed in as if the background is still set at PC width.. looks pixelated. I thought I may have messed up something somewhere so good to know someone else is experiencing this too. To replicate simply set a background image on a row, add some content then view on a mobile (iPhone, haven’t tested other mobiles to confirm). Thanks for any help.
February 11, 2015 at 14:45 #45585RaduModeratorI noticed this, i made some tests an with a large picture ( above 2000 px height )looks fine without pixelating picture.
Wokrs on iphone 4s (Safari & Chrome) also on Samsung Galexy S2Plus ( Chrome and Firefox )

February 23, 2015 at 00:18 #47196DeeTaGParticipantHi guys,
I just wanted to check quickly if there is already a fix for this issue.
I have similar problems on my page. On a desktop screen, all the row background images are displayed absolutely perfect. You can even scale the browser window to whatever size you want, it’s always scaled perfectly.
On my Iphone as well as on the Ipad it somehow looks like it’s zoomed in to 100% by default and isn’t even scaled at all.
Would be great if someone knows a fix for that!
Thanks in advance!
February 23, 2015 at 14:52 #47241RaduModeratorTry using images with more than 2000px height. They scaling ok.

I’ve changed all the picture with high-res ones, but it doesn’t seem to have any effect at all.
Most of the used pictures do even have a resolution of 5184×3456, so this should be totally enough. Is there any kind of setting which is causing this problem? I’ve already tried so many different combinations, but nothing is fixing that issue so far.

Thank you very much in advance!
February 24, 2015 at 13:46 #47396mattfParticipantHello,
Encountering the same issues here. Based on my troubleshooting it seems to be linked to the “fixed background” option for an image background. When the fixed background is deactivated, everything renders quite nicely on my iPad.
Any ideas on possible fixes?
Thanks!
February 24, 2015 at 14:00 #47397DeeTaGParticipantThanks for sharing your troubleshooting results @mattf.
I’ve just disabled the “fixed background” option for two of my rows and that is fixing the issues for me as well.
Everything looks fine on an iPhone 6 and iPad as soon as it’s deactivated.February 25, 2015 at 19:38 #47620AbeKeymasterHi,
Disabling the “fixed background” will resolve that since it won’t use the background as cover, which forces the image to cover the whole container. Being on mobile where the container has a big height, that was making your image to scale since it was stretching to fit the whole height… so in the end it is not a problem but a configuration option.Cheers

March 3, 2015 at 23:20 #48638AbeKeymaster@ro1and that should fix the stretching background.. maybe you have other problem or you haven’t disabled for the right section…
