Hi,
I am using this great theme as the base for my community. And there is one thing I would like and that is that registered user can post an portfolio item from their profile. The user must post sme photos and a description. Is this possible and if so how?
Thank you very much!

Thank you for the answer, but I think this will give me the same options as the social articles plugin.
What I basically need is a feature that allows me to give the user the right to post an article or portfolio item and where the admin decides which fields the registered user can fill out. It’s an community for artists that I am building so an artist can post his work and or work in progress of the art he is making at the moment.
Thanx again!

February 18, 2015 at 19:52 #46605PixMParticipantHi Laura,
Thank you for the suggestion, I have bought the plugin buddyforms, this plugin does what I need but I got one more question:-) How do I change the default layout for the portfolio posts in the kleo theme? It now only displays the title and content field and I want it to display 3 textarea’s one in the portfolio description and 2 in the accordion on the right.
Thanx!
February 25, 2015 at 23:49 #47652AndreiModeratorI’m glad you managed to find a solution for portfolio posting from frontend.
About the changes to the portfolio posts listing, we will need more details about what you want to achieve, could you please post a screenshot of your actual page, and pointing out in more details what you want to change ?
Looking forward

Thank you for the response. What I would like to achieve is what you see in the attachment. I want the images to be shown in a gallery with thumbs. And the content needs to be placed inside the accordion.
Thanx again!

You can achieve the portfolio layout you want but just from backend, manually and individually for each post in part, from Visual Composer.
Unfortunately this is not a common case, and it should need some custom work, to check if the content was posted from your plugin and if it was, it will need a custom made template to show the content in the way you want. Please not that in order to achieve all of this you’ll need programming skills or you’ll need to hire an developer. At some moment in the near future we’ll also thinking in building this kind of options, but meanwhile I can’t see any other options.
Please, let me know if I can help you with anything else.

Thank you for the response, I think what i’m going to do is when I approve the content I will put it myself in the gallery with thumb layout and wait for the future release of this awesome theme.
Great support guys!
February 27, 2015 at 15:30 #47981AndreiModeratorThat seems to be a very good workaround.
Cheers
