I am using BuddyPress with Kleo and have observed that after submitting an activity status update, there is a delay (without indication that the action is being processed). After the update is made, the text box does not clear, so a user may think that the update didn’t go through, and click the submit button several times, resulting in duplicate status updates. Any ideas on how to fix this? It seems like there needs to be a way to refresh the activity stream more frequently, and also clear the update text box after clicking the submit button.
This is the error I am receiving when making status updates:
