I’m trying to add a link that says “Advanced Search” to the horizontal search that will lead the user to an advanced search page. How can I insert a link on the horizontal search?

I can help point you in the correct direction.
The file you need to copy to your child theme and edit is:
..\wp-content\themes\sweetdate-child\custom_buddypress\kleo-bp-search.php
Go to line 288 to find the start, put any edits in around line 310.
Hope this helps you, only found this file myself yesterday when wanting to add instructions!

I have “member search” as the text before, then about 3 or 4 search options, then I want “advanced search?” after the search options.
