    I’d like to edit the code responsible for the shortcode [bbp-topic-index]

    for example I want to be able to control the number of topics that show and change some of the wording. I’d also like to remove some of the data like “Started By” etc… Ultimately I want to be able to adjust the code to my liking. The problem is I cant seem to find it to copy it to my child so that I can edit it.

    I have attached a screen shot of what I am trying to do.
    I’d like to remove the items in RED and add the item in GREEN

    Hi. I Se what you mean but that shortcode comes from bbpress plugin and can’t be edited in the theme. Anyway that uses bbpress templates so modifying templates located inside the theme, in the bbpress folder topics loop, will affect that too.

    You better should do some Internet searches related to that or look on bbPress forums
