Whenever I post an image in a post it crops. I’ve changed the theme and it doesn’t happen in other themes. It only happens when I attempt to align the image left or right but not on none.
March 26, 2015 at 00:13 #51553gavinmlfletcherParticipantStill having this issue. I’ve even uninstalled the theme from the host provider and reinstalled the theme. It’s not a plugin conflict since I tried uploading an image to a post.

I have this message on the dashboard: Please update rtMedia template files if you have overridden the default rtMedia templates in your theme. If not, you can ignore and hide this notice.
As suggested in another post of someone who had the same message, I have reinstalled rtMedia with no change in the situation.
To be specific: I CAN upload media through the media tab of a member page but I cannot upload an image through Social Articles. It tries to do so but I get errors or the broken image icon.
Through the standard blog post entry I can upload media and a feature image but only the feature image displays in full on the post page. The image in the post is cut off.
If there is no feature image, the post itself does not fully display but it looks like it creates the space on the page as if it were displayed. See the post information to the left, in the attachment.
I have no idea if this is related to rtMedia, or coincidental to the above message.
Can anyone help? Thanks.

So the problem is tied, somehow, to the alignment of an image…in this case.
I just rechecked adding an image through the member page, using Social Articles, and images cannot be uploaded. It tries to upload but I end up with a broken image icon.
March 26, 2015 at 02:01 #51582gavinmlfletcherParticipantThe only thing that seems to work is by adding
<br clear=all>
at the end of the post. Workaround for now I guess.
March 26, 2015 at 02:11 #51584bmb267ParticipantThank you, gavinmlfletcher. I will try that but I wonder if you noticed a problem, also, with uploading images by making a post through the Articles tab of the member page?
If that works fine for you then I know that I have two different problems. I do not believe that there is an option for image alignment through the Articles tab.
I will go try your suggestion above, now, to see if that works for me. Thanks, again.
March 26, 2015 at 02:24 #51589sharmstrModeratorIts already been fixed in the next update. Until then, use this
COPY CODE#main-container .article-content { overflow: auto; }

March 26, 2015 at 17:29 #51672bmb267ParticipantThank you, sharmstr.
In the fix that you’ve stated above, please let me know where to put that code. I am sure that it is obvious for most individuals but not so much for me. Thank you.
I am left with the Social Articles issue and one more–that of rtMedia that I mentioned above:
“I have this message on the dashboard: Please update rtMedia template files if you have overridden the default rtMedia templates in your theme. If not, you can ignore and hide this notice.”
The rtMedia issue was brought up by someone who has the same message on their dashboard, in another thread, but it was not resolved. I cannot see a problem with the functioning of rtMedia. Still, I have no idea why I have the message and don’t know what to do with it.
Any thoughts?
March 26, 2015 at 17:33 #51677sharmstrModeratorThe css goes in Theme Options > general settings > quick css
posting images works fine with social articles. I’ve tested it on two sites. maybe you have a plugin conflict
you can safely ignore the rtMedia message. its means nothing to you since 7th queen handles changing of the template.

March 26, 2015 at 17:53 #51690bmb267ParticipantI put in the code and all is well on that front. Thank you. I will hide the message for rtMedia.
So I am left with Social Articles. I just tried it again and I get a broken image link when it tries to upload.
The only plugin conflict that there can be is with one of the plugins that your installation has recommended. Yesterday, I bought the theme, created the subdomain, and installed/activated only those plugins that were recommended.
I will reinstall Social Articles and try to everything that I can think of to fix it. Otherwise, I will start another thread for that problem, in particular.
Thank you so much for your help.
March 27, 2015 at 16:26 #51834sharmstrModeratorheads up!
We have changed the image align fix. When the next Kleo update is available, make sure you delete the css I gave you after you update.
