Hi Support
Currently when user click on login, they will be redirected to a new page (the default wordpress login)
How do I change this?
I am wishing to have the login form embedded within the main body. I notice there is a KLEO login widget (but this can only be inserted in the sidebar)
How do i create a custom login page with Forgot your password link?thank you
April 14, 2015 at 19:02 #54409AndreiModeratorHi, for creating a login page you will have to firstly add a new sidebar called “Login”, after that you’ll have to go to ” Appearance > Widgets “, add the “BuddyPress Login” widget to the Login sidebar, and after that, go and create a new page, called “Login” in which you’ll have to add with Visual Composer, the “Widgetised Sidebar” element.
For the login redirect you could use the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/peters-login-redirect/
Let me know if I can help you with anything else.

The above solution only works after loginApril 18, 2015 at 00:06 #54999sharmstrModeratorThat’s not true. Read the first paragraph again.
If you want the WP login form, then google for a way to add a permalink to wp-login.php. Otherwise, if you follow the directions Andrei gave you, you can have the buddypress login form on /login. And since its done using VC you can add any of the other shortcodes, style it how you want and a link to reset the password.

There are some WordPress Widgets in the element selection, but no sidebars. (The new sidebar “Login” with the Buddypress login was added.)Thanks a lot.
