Hi,
I want to have my website in different languages. Is it possible to translate it completely (content, profile fields, messages, mails, etc…) ?
Which plugin should I use and what is the most efficient way to do it?
Thanks
DavyApril 20, 2015 at 16:16 #55258LauraModeratorHello, for profile fields, navigate to Users >Profile Fields and only change field names.
For themes & plugins use Codestyling Localization or Loco Translate (or both)
For emailsFor emails https://wordpress.org/plugins/welcome-email-editor/ helps you with some, but each plugin that sends an email you can ( most of the time ) translate them by translating the plugin using the translation plugins above

April 21, 2015 at 16:08 #55373LauraModeratorHello, i do not know about the profile fields, maybe yes if you use the format
COPY CODE<!--:en-->About me<!--:--><!--:es-->Sobre mi<!--:-->
In the field name, with that code it should change title if the user is using english or spanish(as the example) language, just change the en or es to the language
It may not work, it does for page titles etc… but i do not know if it does for profile fields.
This is for the plugin qtranslate!Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionLaura Solanes - Graphic Designer and Web Designer

April 23, 2015 at 13:03 #55839LauraModeratorHello, the profile fields are not in any language file because they are created by you, like a post.
