I duplicated the two forms you referenced so that they are under my child theme directory (example: /child-theme/pageparts/home-register-form.php). I then edited and saved them. My changes are not reflected in the live site. Thoughts?

I was able to get the <?php do_action( ‘wordpress_social_login’ ); ?> to appear in the parent theme form but still unable to get it to show up in the child theme form.

Sorry. I had the directory in the child theme named incorrectly.
