Hi,
I have buyed this fantastic theme and i would like to use for a college use.
I need to allow user to choose a field such as “university faculty” and when the faculty has choose the second field named “exams” are shown. When the user choose another “university faculty”, other exams are shown. I need to calculate the affinity based on this field so i need a method to do this.
How can i do this?
Sorry for my english and thanks

November 1, 2013 at 21:45 #5661Snake24ParticipantI know. I need to insert a conditional profile field, please read the discussion.
ThanksNovember 1, 2013 at 22:25 #5663TenshiParticipantI don’t think this exists yet as I have tried suggesting this feature in the Features Request thread.
I am also very interested in this.
November 1, 2013 at 22:40 #5667Snake24ParticipantI thinked to use this plugin: http://wpbpshop.com/buddypress-user-account-type-pro
Instead of “Account Type” i called the field faculty and exam
What do you think about this?

Please help usNovember 2, 2013 at 19:54 #5730bshostsParticipantYou can create conditional fields using gravityforms and this feeds directly through to buddypress profile fields, I’ve just finished doing this on a site.
November 2, 2013 at 19:56 #5731Snake24ParticipantAnd with gravity form fields it is possible to calculate affinity with sweetdate theme?
November 2, 2013 at 19:59 #5733bshostsParticipantI can’t see why it wouldn’t be. It literally takes the form fields that someone enters and feeds them through to the profile fields, the whole registration process I have set up uses this functionality – I found gravityforms had more options, I’m also including an image upload as part of the registration using gravityforms. (So no more blank avatars)
November 2, 2013 at 20:04 #5735bshostsParticipantI couldn’t find another option myself. Do update this if you find something else (for future reference). Good luck
