Hi,
How do I edit the search results page template? (it currently displays using a pinterest style that I don’t want to use).
Nothing in the forums about this nor in the documentation (that I could find)

pwd sunshine1That’s not a search results page. There is a search form on that page. That search form can take you to several different search results pages depending on what type of results you want to see.
Please provide a link to the results page that has a pinterest layout.

I feel like I’ve missed something here. Your original question stated that the search results displayed the pinterest style page. That’s not the case.
In order to customize those pages, you’ll need to edit the template files search.php and archive.php.

I meant that it is using a ‘pinterest-like’ layout that I don’t like (basically it’s not making it easy for someone searching for something to easily find the results, it is adding an extra level of complexity for someone already lost).
Ok, I thought that would be the case (edit the files). Is there any examples of nice search results pages for the theme?

Have you enabled the layout switcher? There’s 3 different results styles the user can choose from.
