Right now the boxes on all members page are mis-aligned because box #1 which is your own profile does not have the Add Friend and Private Message buttons on it and therefore is smaller than the rest. (screenshot) The whole list from top to bottom is misaligned because of this, it looks bad. Also, I really think that as default the avatars should be bigger there and there should be no buttons on those boxes, is they want to add or message they should have to click on the picture. Deleting last activity time would also be nice, people dont like that, it infringes on privacy. Having a wall of pictures basically, would look a lot better.

This is no issue at all, it’s just dynamic alignment of the boxing which is called “masonry”, style which you can find for example on pinterest and on a lot of other sites. Take a look at our demo to understand better: http://seventhqueen.com/themes/kleo/members/
The rest of the aspects you’ve put up I think they mostly depend to your own preferences and isn’t something reported until now. With a few tweaks you could change the listing exactly to what you want but please note that this will require you to have some programming skills.
Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

Mark as a solutionMay 8, 2015 at 01:57 #57865sharmstrModeratorThank you for the suggestions. Some things to note about this. As you probably know, the list is masonry, so it calculates the size of the member box and displays the next one accordingly. Even though you show the first one being smaller, it can actually be larger if you’ve posted an update. So just removing the buttons isn’t going to solve the alignment issue. See attached.
Kleo has only formats the information (buttons, activity time, activity) that Buddypress spits out. So while it would be possible for Kleo to have some switches in theme settings to turn off certain parts of that list, its not going to have any insight into that “block” button you have there and therefore will not be able to hide it.
While you think there should only be an image there, you’re the first one to suggest that while there have been several support questions on how to add more information to the box. But that’s why we’ve created a way for all of this to be voted on 🙂
In the meantime there are several topics on how to increase the avatar size and hide information. You can also create a custom member page using the members grid shortcode, but all searches will revert back to the masonry page. http://seventhqueen.com/themes/kleo/buddypress-members/
Hope this helps.

May 8, 2015 at 03:57 #57904AbracadabraParticipantimho this is way too good to have it as a shortcode, would be nice to have it as option in kleo menu, switching between different views for all members page.
where can i find those shortcodes and how would I set this up?May 8, 2015 at 04:01 #57905AndreiModeratorYou have this directly as an Visual Composer element called “Members Grid”.

[kleo_bp_members_grid type="newest" number="12" size="150" class=""]
However the page does not look good, pictures are different sizes, is there a how to do description for this somewhere?May 8, 2015 at 04:54 #57917AbracadabraParticipantcarousel shows fine, but in grid, the boxes with no avatars are about twice as big as boxes with pictures on them. This is really beautiful work, it actually solves a lot of issues I wanted to take care of with hiding buttons and activity time stamp.
May 8, 2015 at 04:55 #57918AndreiModeratorIf you want to stick with the grid then just leave me a link to see more exactly what’s the issue with the avatar sizes and see if I can provide a quick fix.
Cheers

What you guys could do that would make this even better, displaying a name when you hover over the picture.May 9, 2015 at 21:54 #58141AndreiModeratorYou could try to add a feature request in our new voting system if you would like some new elements or additions to the current ones.
Cheers
