Kleo is a very feature rich theme with a lot of very clever and pretty unique functions. If you are like me you always have the idea that you only know a small percentage of all the great things you could do with it. Apart from installation and setup there is not much guidance available of how to explore and use all the possibilities.
Something like best practices for certain setups or explaining all the available functions in the buddypress and BPP domain in creating a community would be great. I know it’s time consuming and we all would want you to develop new features rather than explaining the older ones but it would just raise the usability of the theme.June 2, 2015 at 16:23 #60766AndreiModeratorHi, we already have on our to-do list to create new video tutorials and a better knowledge base.
Thank you very much for your feedback.Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. I like the access to visuals and then the underlying code but I can see where trying to index all of that is a significant challenge. I’d be perfectly fine with paying for access to an ‘idea site’ – or maybe you trade user’s ideas for access to the site.
June 11, 2015 at 21:04 #62156DmarkhamParticipantPer my previous post, as an example, I’d be interested in adapting this ‘voting system’ to another use on my own site.
June 11, 2015 at 21:32 #62170AndreiModerator@dmarkham, unfortunately I didn’t managed to understand exactly to what you’re referring with the demo pages and the idea site, can you please be a little bit more explicit ?
And about this voting system, well, this is a custom functionality that we’ve built just for us, isn’t released for the public.

Especially all the Buddypress functionality is a little bit overwhelming, especially If you are new to it and don’t know yet exactly what comes from WordPress itself, what from Buddypress and what part comes from the Theme.

Notice the “Get Settings” accordion right below each example.
It’s also very helpful to be able to see the Shortcode notation for cases where we can’t leverage the Visual Composer interface.
