    Hello,

    When I try to add members to a group in the wordpress admin (Groups / Edit Group / Add New Members), I start typing a name and the users list appears. However, when I try to save the page I do not get any change applied (the member has not been added).

    Also, when I try to change the group status (for example from “private” to “hidden”) and then click to save changes, I do not get any change as well.

    Last, I can’t invite site members to join groups via front-end (even if I am group admin and website admin).

    Could you please help?

    I’m having the same issue even with Kleo deactivated and the WP 2015 theme enabled. Ask over on the bp forums. Could be an issue with the new bp 2.3.1 because its working fine on my BP 2.2.3.1 site.

    Hi Sharmstr, thanks a lot for your answer.

    However, this theme is sold with buddypress integrated already, and that’s one of the main reason why I bought it.
    So I believe KLEO should take over and help me on that or at least be the point of contact and intermediary for this problem between their customer and buddypress.

    I dont work for 7th Queen, so I’m responding as a user like you….

    Buddypress is free and didnt come bundled with the theme. It wasn’t sold to you by 7th Queen. The theme is compatible up to the point that BP is working correctly. 7th queen is responsible for any extended BP functionality that is written into Kleo. If you were to buy another theme right now and install it, you’d still have the issue.

    7th Queen is the intermediary for paid plugins that come bundled with the theme, like Visual Composer.

    I’ve provided a link to the bp topic where this issue has been reported. You can downgrade to an older version of BP until its fixed. Furthermore, there is new functionality in BP 2.3 that is not compatible with the current version of Kleo since BP 2.3 was released yesterday. Technically you shouldn’t have upgraded BP or any other Kleo compatible plugin until the 7th Queen team has a chance to test and release an update for it if needed.

    I do not fully agree with you because 7th Queen is using buddypress both as a tag to search the theme and also prepares demo content and demo pages in order to show you how this theme is beautiful and why you should by it.
    About the upgrade, I may agree with you, but I still expect 7th Queen to keep the theme up to date with buddypress in a reasonable time (I don’t mean NOW, I just mean I would like them to asnwer me “we will make the new buddypress compatible with the KLEO theme in xxx days”).

    Since you do not work for 7th Queen I appreciate your help but I still wait for an official answer from 7th Queen then.

    @abe – BP Cover Photo 1.1 is conflicting with WP admin > Groups saving. It happens on the old version of BP as well. I believe it has something to do with the new group photo form fields.

    @max – regarding your last issue about inviting via the frontend. It doesnt matter if you are an admin or not. You can only send invites to ‘friends’. I’ve tested inviting friends with the BP cover photo plugin enabled and it works as expected in both Kleo and WP 2015 theme. However, Kleo is not showing the notice that you need have friends in order to invite. See attached screenshot of the message in the 2015 theme.

    The devs are assigned to this topic so they will see all of this.

    OK, thanks. As disabling the BP Cover Photo plugin temporarily “fixes” the problem of adding members to groups from the wp-admin, I am OK with it for the moment.

    However, the last info you provided may be important for the future so thanks a lot again.

    I’ve added the no friends notification message to Kleo. It will be in Kleo 3.0 if the devs accept my code changes.
