November 12, 2013 at 15:48 #6487adamParticipantthis happens to me sometimes too. i think it may have to do with me switching logins from admin to other users quickly while testing the site. not sure.
November 12, 2013 at 15:59 #6489JohnDoeParticipantEither way , it is VERY annoying and i hope the admins will look into this by the next update.
November 12, 2013 at 23:35 #6524SQadminKeymasterWe haven’t encountered this but when you do please look at the browser console log for errors
Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionNovember 12, 2013 at 23:46 #6525SQadminKeymasterHm.. that could come from the fact that you are logged in on another tab and the current tab hasn’t been refreshed and won’t log you in since you already are.
I will try to think of something
Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionNovember 18, 2013 at 11:06 #6843syslay288ParticipantThat happends only when you are like this:
YourWebsite.com/# <— and you are trying to login, so the overlayer form is doing an infinite loop.
November 19, 2013 at 12:04 #6898SQadminKeymasterI don’t think that is the problem. We tested and haven’t encountered any issues. The only thing that can be is the situation I said above:
“that could come from the fact that you are logged in on another tab and the current tab hasn’t been refreshed and won’t log you in since you already are. “Hi there!!! Thanks for being our customer.February 21, 2015 at 14:41 #46968pauldykeParticipantI’ve been experiencing this intermittently for quite a while. Users cannot login, they get stuck in an infinite ‘ ‘Sending info, please wait…’ loop. Users think they’ve got their password wrong and request a password reminder. However it’s not because of this. I suspect it’s a conflict with WP Super Cache. I think it might need the option ‘Don’t cache pages with GET parameters. (?x=y at the end of a url)’ enabled.
Any ideas?
February 27, 2015 at 18:50 #48007AbeKeymaster@pauldyke try looking for javascript errors in or maybe some security plugin. Also it is advised to update to the latest theme
Cheers

I too have run into this issue. Intermittently, the login window will just sit there and spin and not go away (see attachment). I’ve tried disabling WP SuperCache, which didn’t fix the issue. Upon inspection of the page during the problem, there are no console errors. When I refresh the page, it shows that I am logged in. So the issue is that this little window is not going away after I log in.
I’d greatly appreciate any help that can be given on the issue.
Thanks
