Hi there,
It all sounds so easy… but when i manage to get survey monkey to play nice and generate some embed code for me it didn’t show up in the page. I’ve tried adding the code to a text widget and adding to a sidebar too, plus of course adding the code in a text box via the text editor – just shows their linked text at the end “Create your own user feedback survey”.
Is there something I’m missing? or is it that SM just hasn’t conjured up the correct code? It might well be just that as it’s been really playing up today – sometimes working, sometimes not, especially for the website embed bit as it won’t even show me the other embed options like the pop ups etc.
many thanks.

Amazingly their support team is being really helpful, so I’ll let you know the outcome when I have some functioning code to play with again.
In the meantime if any other Kleo users have used SM, any pointers/trouble shooting tips would be useful! Cheers.

When I can I’ll test with the default theme and let you know – just not possible at present.
Their support focuses mainly on clearing your cache etc to get it to work – all done but no change. And my latest test survey embed code doesn’t work in either browser…
This is the code for it:
<script>(function(t,e,i,n){var o,s,c;t.SMCX=t.SMCX||[],e.getElementById(n)||(o=e.getElementsByTagName(i),s=o[o.length-1],c=e.createElement(i),c.type="text/javascript",c.async=!0,c.id=n,c.src=["https:"===location.protocol?"https://":"http://","widget.surveymonkey.com/collect/website/js/6_2F8ifkijplZUC1BVpEFiBZ3B8Li5irGY2J_2Fkgk5tx4zv_2Fk0EaKdeFmk2IiU77nt7.js"].join(""),s.parentNode.insertBefore(c,s))})(window,document,"script","smcx-sdk");</script><a style="font: 12px Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #999; text-decoration: none;" href=https://www.surveymonkey.com/mp/customer-satisfaction-surveys/> Create your own user feedback survey </a>
This is a bit beyond me – looks shortcode and js?
I’m also going to investigate Google forms for embedding to see if that’s better – will update here.
July 1, 2015 at 08:54 #659385high-photohubParticipantUpdate; I’ve found that Google docs does everything and much much more than Survey Monkey so will swop to this option.
Sorry to not resolve it for others but it’s just taking way too long!
Thanks anyway. -
