I’m keen to get my forum looking very similar to Flarum http://discuss.flarum.org/ particularly:
1) avatar on left
2) category links as different coloured blocks
3) activity stream approach (easy enough to do by showing forum topics by freshness)
4) ensuring it all works well for mobile devices too so no cramping everything into a small spaceSomeone has already developed a theme for bbpress https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/bbpress-like-flarum/ but I want to use this approach in kleo without breaking everything. The bbpress code also loses the category links on mobile which is not ideal.
Mobile use is important and the kleo theme has lots of elements which don’t work as they should on mobile particularly for forums.
I’m very much a beginner to PHP and coding so would appreciate some guidance. Thanks!
I took about 30 minutes out of my time yesterday to install the bbpress/flarum code. Its a mess with Kleo and beyond the scope of support here to get it fixed. Since you dont have the skill required to do it yourself, you should look to hire someone to do it for you. You an contact dev@seventhqueen.com for a quote.
