    Ok, when we try to use the Visual Composer ‘video player’ bit to add in videos, well, check this page out:

    http://www.myselfdefensetraining.com/press-kit/

    Each element on that page is on its own row in Visual Composer. There’s nothing on that page but text boxes and video players, and there is no custom padding or anything ascribed to the video player elements. And yet…there’s like a 3-400 pixel gap at the top of each video player element. Not good.

    Beyond actually getting the embed code for each video and no longer using the responsive video player element (which would totally suck) how can we fix this?

    Stick this on the page using the gear icon in visual composer

    .wpb_video_widget .wpb_wrapper .wpb_video_wrapper {
    padding-top: 0px !important;
    }

    also, your site is throwing 404 errors for page press jquery in your child theme.

    “also, your site is throwing 404 errors for page press jquery in your child theme.”

    Ummmmm, ok – what are we missing that would throw that error?

    Oh, also – shouldn’t we add that CSS in to the child theme’s custom css area in general settings, @sharmstr ?

    You tell me. 🙂 Its not part of kleo. See attached.

    You could, but since it doesnt happen on a clean kleo install I’m suggesting that you put it on the page so you dont risk screwing up other pages. See without my css fix http://dev.sharmstr.com/no-video-gap/

    Gotcha – we put it in Quick CSS, and that seems to solve the problem site-wide.

    That’s weird with those 404’s. We just put the kleo-child theme in place this morning, which looks like…that’s where page-press-kid.js is being called from, right?

    I have no idea. Again, not part of kleo.

    I recommend you to contact your WPEngine support team about those errors, because they have a more special hosting environment.

    Cheers
