Hi there!
Even when I’m using a computer I noticed that mobile menu is able when I reduce the screen to 931 px wide. I would like to change this set because makes no sense. Where should I alter?
I’m using kleo 2.4 and not able to update the theme at this moment.

July 23, 2015 at 01:10 #69533AndreiModeratorOn desktops normally you have a resolution of at least 1024px, that’s the smallest break point optimized for desktop screens. If you resize your browser window to a lower width then you’ll start emulating the screen sizes of mobile and tablet devices. This kind of layout is called responsive because it adapts to the width of the browser window.
This cannot be changed and it isn’t an issue, please note that the majority of big websites have such responsive layouts.

You don’t consider a issue because you are think in technology, but I’m thinking in people who really are starting to use a computer or don’t have a great knowledge about it (my clients) and they don’t understand when see a page with a “short menu” represented by one image with three bars. If you take a look in the images, which I sent before, you may notice that the menu isn’t so big to turn in a short menu like is today, I could resize it using css and “@media” to fit in the screen.
I know that is possible and would like to know which files I could change.
Cheers!July 23, 2015 at 17:55 #69681AndreiModeratorWell, firstly if you’ll have your browser window stretched down under 1024 pixels, the content will gratefully rearrange in page to fit the available space, if you want to view the entire page you just have to maximize your browser window, this is as logic as it could be.
Secondly, if you disable the responsiveness behavior you’ll end up with a forced width of at least 1024px, so in that case if you’ll stretch your browser window, you’ll end up cropping the page view, so you won’t have access to the whole page. Please give a look at most of the wordpress themes from the market and you’ll see that all of them have this behavior, it’s a new standard in web page development, even google requires/recommend this feature: http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.ro/2015/04/faqs-april-21st-mobile-friendly.html
Changing this behavior will require you to trough all css files of the theme located under assets/css folder.

Where do i change the noraml-to-mobile menu breakpoint width? Thanks in advance.

November 23, 2015 at 15:36 #88614AndreiModeratorHi,
This already happens, when the width of the site stretches down and the desktop menu disappears, the mobile menu trigger will appear, from where you can open your mobile side menu.
Also the breakpoints cannot be changed.

If I need them to break at a different points I should have that option. Is too many css values?
Why am I not able to adjust the breakpoints. Is there a rationalization for it that i am missing?
November 23, 2015 at 15:44 #88617AndreiModeratorThe breakpoints are set in concordance with general mobile devices screen resolutions and they don’t need to be dynamic because it might end up breaking the site on other devices.
For a better understand of the grid system please take a look into bootstrap grid documentation: https://getbootstrap.com/css/#grid

Mark as a solutionNovember 23, 2015 at 15:56 #88618thinkvisionParticipantBut I have a problem with that theme developer position when i have a menu that is greater in width than and say a larger font size in the top level menu so the breakpoints need adjustment to keep them from falling down into the header before the breakpoint happens. So I find this bit of “standards” useless noise unless when the menu width (and/or logo size) has been set differently than your template operates at.
Bad call for me when dealing with customized menu widths and larger than normal logos. As the breakpoints can’t help a menu that is fallen below the header position because the logo has kicked it below, is IT IS VISUALLY BROKEN, but not to the point of the “mobile switch” before they reached there breakpoints!!!!
So how do i accommodate a log say great in heigh than 150 pixels and a full menu that needs to “break” a bit earler?
Like right at the point it falls down in the header because the oversized logo made it do so? And the oversized logo is what the client wants.
November 23, 2015 at 17:54 #88645AndreiModeratorCan you please provide me a screenshot captured in the exact moment then the menu doesn’t fit so I can properly understand at what moment does it happen ?
Looking forward.

basically I would like to see the mobile menu takeover at this pint as well as at the 1024 area. It breaks right now at roughly 990
