Hi,
I am thinking to change the domain name. Do I have to do from scratch like day ONE ? What about the all the plug-ins, CloudFlare, optimization? Would I lose everything what i put in? My hosting say is best to just get another domain name and point to it?
Any recommendation ?

You will need to change the new domain nameservers to your hosting, then cloudflare setup again, after your domain has changed and its working.
