Hello,
Nice theme! I like it so far but there are certain features I am unable to activate.
The first is the pages, I am missing a lot of pages. I so far have only 8 pages. Which brings me to the
SECOND Issue: The homepage isn’t showing, I have gone to change it from my “recent post” to “homepage” but there is no homepage in the dropdown.
THIRD: How do I add more details on someones profile page all I have is Name : Admin, where do I go to add more like age, occupation and interest.
In summary how do I activate the features the theme promises. To further help here’s the website URL: “http://thirstysingles.com/”
Thanks

August 2, 2015 at 09:11 #71185aka4realzParticipantThanks! but I ran into a problem,
On the front page, when people fill the form to sign up. When they do it takes them to a 404 page. I tried fixing it under -> settings -> buddypress -> registration. The “Register and Activate” have no pages for me to select on the drop menu option. How do I add them and make them work?
To further illustrate you can go to “thirstysingles.com” and try signing up it takes you nowhere but the 404 page.
Thanks

August 4, 2015 at 17:48 #71518aka4realzParticipantIs there a captcha for sign up forms to prevent spammers and how do I make a guest not see other members information.
I saw even as a guest I was a able to see members profile and their information. Can I make it to you have be a member to see other members profiles in detail ?
Thank you.
August 4, 2015 at 23:03 #71588aka4realzParticipantI have one more question, I noticed when people signed up it defaulted to “Customer” how do I permanently change it to “Subscriber”? So I don’t have to manually change them to subscriber each time someone signs up.
Thank you for patience
August 6, 2015 at 04:02 #71816LauraModeratorHello, you can select your default role in wordpress admin Settings.
You can use this code in header.php or footer.php of child theme.
This will hide a members profile fields information for not logged in members.
They will still see photo but not the fields.COPY CODE<?php if ( is_user_logged_in() ) { } else { ?> <style type="text/css" media="screen"> dl.dl-horizontal p { display: none; } dl.dl-horizontal dd:after { content: 'LOGIN TO SEE'; } </style> <?php } ?>
