Hi!
I just bought the theme, very excited! Thank you very much.I would like to properly install it from the very beginning. I know how to install the theme from inside the word press editor but not sure how to deal with main theme vs. child theme.
Which file/folder do I need to install so I could later update the theme without loosing the customization I will make with the theme?
This is what I have when I open the download:
1. _Macosx
1.1 Main Files
1.2 WordPress
1.3 SweetDate
1.4 SweetDate-child
2. Main Files
2.1 WordPress
2.2 Sweetdate
2.4 _Macosx
2.6 Sweetdate
2.5 Sweetdate
2.3. Sweetdate-child
2.7 Sweetdate-childCan you clarify which files to install initially and which ones for updates and where?

ElenaHello, you need to install first Sweetdate theme ( sweetdate.zip ) then sweetdate-child.zip and then activate the Child theme

Yes… but there are so many files inside each other and they are all named the same…
The question was at what level is the file that I need to install? (that’s why I numbered them by level above)
Level 1 – then I open it, and there is file with the same name inside level 2… 🙂
I want to set it up right up-front so I can later upload updates with no issues.
