First let me say Thank you so much for being the creating what seems to be a consistent and well built theme. The basis of my purchase (long ago) was seeing how often you update this theme and I’ve got to say, you’ve not only impressed me (and others as well) but offered hope in accomplish what most of us want to do, but great sites from your foundation. Thank you truly!
Now that I got that out of the way, here are several burning questions I have in mind.
I’ll break these into the subject matter they’re about.
Your theme now supports Multiple profile types (THANK YOU! Been waiting for something that like that) which brings me to several questions.
Registration Process:
1. How do I make it so that when someone signs up w/ a different type of account (like someone who’s signing up as a teacher) will be shown different profile input fields than from a student or other.Membership Process:
1. How can I charge for differently type of profile, teachers would have to pay or have a starting low tier. where does the user see the membership page? Immediately after signup?2. What can I restrict in each of the membership tears within buddypress press, limitations to photos, group access, posting, private messaging, etc…
Sign In Process:
1. When someone signs in using facebook, what profile fields do you need to, to be predefined in order for it to all pull those in as well as their avatar?2. Is there a way to do control the redirect w/o the use of another plugin when someone logins from the kleo login page?
Display User Type based on location:
1. How do I display a zip code search based on the user type. For example, Looking for a teacher or Tutor within this zip code, or xx miles.2. Is there a way to show a users location? if so, how can a map be displayed leveraging Geo Directory?
Geo Directory:
1. Can a user that’s added a listing be pointed back to their buddypress profile?2. When I sign from the Geo Directory Login area, I’m redirected to admin backend, why? Can we make it not do that, keep it everything front as possible?

September 15, 2015 at 15:17 #77796AndreiModeratorThank you very much for your feedback.
Registration Process:
1. Here is a tutorial with a few plugin recommendation which will help you create a profile field which will be synced with the bp member type. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqcy00YLZck and which can be as well added in the registration page.
Membership Process:
1. This might be possible to be done but will be a custom built feature for your exact needs.
2. You can see all restriction options under “Theme Options > Membership”.
Sign In Process:
1. The facebook login will automatically import the user name and avatar, you’ll need to have the “Name” field present ( it’s the only field from buddypress that can’t be deleted )
2. Built in login redirect is available in “Theme Options > Miscellaneous > Login redirect” and additionally you can use the following plugin for advanced redirect rules: https://wordpress.org/plugins/peters-login-redirect/
Display User Type based on location:
1. A plugin that might help you with this approach will be GeoMyWP, but unfortunately it’s not fully compatible with our theme for the moment.
2. The plugin recommended above also has a map feature on which it can display users based on zipcode or address.
Geo Directory:
1. Probably with some custom modifications, yes.
2. If your user has admin level then probably will get redirected to the admin page in most of the times. If is not admin then you can use the login redirect plugin I recommended you above in order to force the login redirect.
Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

If im able to add in a zipcode field that the user has to enter upon registration, can i add in a filter rule that allows me to search by zip code.Geomywp plugin has something that’s written for kleo theme that seems like it offers compatibility. Do you know anything about that?
September 16, 2015 at 07:45 #77952mbxParticipantRegistration Process:
2. how can i add the usertype process to appear on the wordpress side and not the buddypress side. Because there seems to be alot of fields that is starting to stack up on the buddypress side.Membership:
2. Is there a way to restrict the amount of photos/media the use can add with the r/t media plugin addon?September 17, 2015 at 13:51 #78189AndreiModeratorHi,
Hiding fields in registration page by the selection of another field ( the member type for example ) is achievable but just with some custom developments. Unfortunately there is no way to do that directly from buddypress.
The register page of buddypress cannot be moved in the default wp registration, it’s recommended to redirect the wp default register page to the buddypress register page.
You can only limit the overall usage of rtmedia uploads, not by a certain amount of files.
We’re not aware of the geomywp compatibility but we have it on list for integration in the very near future.

October 27, 2015 at 00:33 #84398AndreiModeratorPersonally i don’t recommend it because it’s outdated and don’t work as it should with newer versions of buddypress. But thanks for the suggestion.
