I am running Kleo 3.0.9 on PHP 5.5.29 and WP 4.3.1. The hamburger menu on the right does not expand on small mobile screens. When you touch it, there is a long pause, and quick expand and contract. This problem happens on 3 of the 4 android phone devices I have running Android 4.4.3, 5.1.1, and 5.0.1.
Kleo 3.0.8 didn’t have this problem, but it had the unable to edit posts and pages problem.
The theme settings haven’t recently changed, so I don’t think they are the problem.
I can’t post a link to the site but if you tell me a way to send the address to you via private message, I will send it so you can see for yourself.
This looks like another bug. Is there a fix for this?
September 25, 2015 at 14:54 #79485sedmordersParticipantThe problem happens even on a pc with every browser version, when the screen width is narrowed to that of a small mobile device, so its universal.
I have a second site running the same Kleo 3.0.9, php5.5.29, and wp 4.3.1 that it doesn’t happen to. It seems to be dependent on WHAT is displayed in the site menu.
September 25, 2015 at 17:59 #79496zboinaParticipantI also have this problem. For mobile devices the menu (burger) does not work correctly – when I click on it there for a moment and hiding. I’m using version 3.09 kleo and WordPress 4.3.1. Changing PHP has not helped. I also tried to disable plugins but it also did not help. Please help!
September 25, 2015 at 18:29 #79501sedmordersParticipantI tried all the same remedies as zboina. I also tried changing the Theme settings, but that didn’t provide a remedy either.
Thanks, zboina, for confirming that I’m not going crazy and that there really is a problem (bug) that needs to be fixed in Kleo.
To balance things out, I’ve been very happy with Kleo so far, but their testing needs to be more thorough before each release so we don’t end up being guinea pigs and free beta testers.
September 26, 2015 at 16:55 #79580sharmstrModeratorThis isnt happening on the demo site, so please provide links so the developers can see the issue.

It looks like private messaging is disabled on this site, unfortunately, so it appears that the only way to send it to you is via email.

September 26, 2015 at 17:37 #79594sharmstrModeratorYou mentioned that you think it has something to do with the contents of the menu. Can you create a test menu with only a few items, then create a test page and assign that menu to it? After you’ve done this, give us a link to that page. I want to see if it works or not. My gut is telling me that this is indeed a plugin conflict and not the contents of the menu. This will help narrow it down. Thank you.

September 26, 2015 at 18:05 #79600sedmordersParticipantAs we said before, we tried disabling plugins one by one and it didn’t seem to affect the problem.
We tried your suggestion and made a very simple test menu and it also has the problem. The test menu was the side menu, which is very simple.
September 26, 2015 at 18:08 #79603sharmstrModeratorSo then it has nothing to do with menu content. Good to know. Instead of disabling one by one, the proper way is to disable all of them first to see if the problem disappears.
Besides plugin conflicts, its possible that code within your child theme could be causing it. An easy way to text that is enable to kleo parent theme temporarily.

September 26, 2015 at 18:13 #79608sedmordersParticipantI disabled all the plugins first, and the problem went away.
September 26, 2015 at 18:15 #79609sharmstrModeratorGreat. Now you can enable one by one to see which plugin is causing the issue 🙂

September 26, 2015 at 18:16 #79610sedmordersParticipantI’ve narrowed it down to one plugin by turning the plugins on one by one. Its the following plugin:
Download Manager
https://wordpress.org/plugins/download-manager/September 26, 2015 at 18:17 #79611sharmstrModeratorJust as an FYI – I’ve seen cases where it was a combination of plugins causing problems on my site. So disabling one by one doesnt always find it.

September 26, 2015 at 18:26 #79614sedmordersParticipantAll the plugins EXCEPT the Download Manager have been reenabled and the problem still isn’t there. Its that plugin. Now I’ll post a support ticket for that problem on that plugin’s site.
Thanks!
September 26, 2015 at 18:29 #79618sharmstrModeratorYou’re welcome. I’m glad you were able to learn how to correctly diagnose plugin conflicts.

September 26, 2015 at 18:47 #79625sedmordersParticipantFYI, I fiddled with the settings on the Download Manager. There is a setting called “Twitter Bootstrap”. If you change the setting from “Active” to “Disable Both”, the problem goes away.
