October 5, 2015 at 17:43 #80951directnet42uParticipantThank you. Unfortunately I tried this and the comments are still showing on each of the pages. Is there any other setting I’m missing?
October 5, 2015 at 18:05 #80953sharmstrModeratorI think I missed the “from buddypress” part last time. What do you mean by that?

October 5, 2015 at 18:50 #80968directnet42uParticipantFor example, it’s showing the comments box from the KLEO theme for signed in users (see attached photo). Which I think is different than a wordpress comment box, unless I’m mistaken.

Turn “discussion” on in screen options to show the Discussion section. Then scroll down to the discussion section and uncheck “Allow Comments”.

October 6, 2015 at 01:11 #81034sharmstrModeratorKeep in mind that if you turn off comments in WP Admin -> Settings, that it wont go back and turn off comments for pages/posts that have already been published.
