I just realized there is a setting to have comments (from buddypress) show up on pages. However, I’m wondering if there’s a way to have them only show on specific pages and disabled for others?

Yes. Here’s a link to the wordpress documentation on that subject: https://codex.wordpress.org/Comments_in_WordPress#Turning_on_Comments_for_a_Single_Post_or_Page

Thank you. Unfortunately I tried this and the comments are still showing on each of the pages. Is there any other setting I’m missing?

I think I missed the “from buddypress” part last time. What do you mean by that?

For example, it’s showing the comments box from the KLEO theme for signed in users (see attached photo). Which I think is different than a wordpress comment box, unless I’m mistaken.

That’s the standard WP comment box and has nothing to do with BP. Bring up that page in the page editor and uncheck “allow comments”.

I tried that under screen options, but unfortunately it is still showing the same comment box on this page.

No, that’s not where you do it. Screen options is only to turn the meta box on and off. Turn “discussion” on in screen options to show the Discussion section. Then scroll down to the discussion section and uncheck “Allow Comments”.

Keep in mind that if you turn off comments in WP Admin -> Settings, that it wont go back and turn off comments for pages/posts that have already been published.
