My site has about 20,000 members. When members scroll to the bottom of members page, if the last page is 1000 or more when clicked on it just spins forever and won’t even allow moving anywhere else. I deleted some profiles and brought the last page number down to 998 and it fixed the issue. This only happens when the last page is clicked and is over 1000. Deleting profiles is only a temporary fix and I will need a permanent solution for this problem. This is not a hosting issue.
Please see attachments. Suggestions for a fix will be appreciated. Thank you.

I also tried changing the number of profiles that appear on the members page. The only time it works is when the number of the last page is below 1000. Any number over 1000 and it spins forever when user clicks on it. I have tried it in I.E., Chrome, Firefox, and Opera browser and it happens the same in all.
Is there any way to change the code to hide that last page number so it is not clickable to users? Then obviously users will not be able to jump to the last page, but I think that is much better than the user getting stuck.
Let me know if there are any other suggestions for the issue. The only temporary fix I have found is to increase the number of members per page, but that only works until the number of member pages reaches over 1000 again.

If you do manage to pass the 1000 number again please let me know so I can investigate more closely what happens in that case.
Cheers

Please let me know when you would like me to do it because I don’t want to leave it that way for very long.

Looking forward.
