The search function of the KLEO-theme searches through everything except for (buddypress)members. However within the settings we DIDN’T select the members so it wouldn skip them during the process. Is this a known bug? Or did we miss anything else within the settings so it does search through everything?

With the search function I mean the normal search function and not the AJAX search-function.

Also I find that the website is slow. Do you know how to improve the load speed ?

BuddyPress has it’s own separate search system and it’s not linked to the default wordpress search results, so this isn’t something related to our theme, it’s just the way the buddypress plugin is meant to work.

In our ajax search element we have created a custom functionality in order to search members as well.

Regarding your site loading speeds there might be a lot of factors implied in here, starting from number of plugins you’re using, their quality and as well how heavy they are in comparison with the available hosting resource you have for your site to run.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.
    Cheers
