help please?
*Yes, I realize this is perhaps a bbpress issue but for some reason it seems to be involved witha Kleo issue. *
My group forums suddenly disappeared, but get this, only the active ones (if that gives any clue) I get this message now when I visit the forum:
“This group does not currently have a forum.”
I tried fresh installs of bbpress, nothing is changing.
When I go to the backend of groups, I can select the forum name, and save settings: but the forum is still not on the front end.In the dropdown menu on the frontend of the group, the default shows now as “No Forum”, then there are other group forums in the dropdown menu, but none of the ones listed are that group’s forum name.
Also, strangely, when I do fresh installs of the bbpress plugin that is bundled with Kleo, it’s no longer being recognized at all as being installed, even though it’s in My ftp.
everything is updated to latest versions.
I logged in and see group forums. I’ll respond privately with details.

Ahhh. I think I know what’s happening. I did find a group that had forum enabled, but no forum assigned to it.
In this case, what probably happened is that the group was initially created without a forum. Buddypress only give you the option to create a forum when you first create the group. If you go back later and enable forums for a group, you first need to create the forum in WP admin so you can assign it to the group. It would be nice if they coded in a way to create the forum after the fact, but they dont.

No… the screenshot you made is a group where no content was posted to the forum.
we created all groups WITH a forum from the start.
Here is an example of a group where the forum is now missing:

Have you looked for a plugin conflict? Specifically with the group plugins you have installed?
Have you tried any of the forum repair tools in WP Admin > Tools > Forums?
Did you try with the WP 2015 Theme enabled? This will help us determine if Kleo is causing this, because I cant reproduce this issue on my site.

Have you asked the bbpress or buddypress guys since it also happens with the WP 2015 Theme (which rules out Kleo)?
Instead of deactivating the plugins one at a time, the proper way is to deactivate all plugins from the start. If it works, then reactivate one by one. I’ve had a few issues that were caused by a combination of plugins.
Do you have a custom code that might be causing this issue?
