I am having a problem with the media library. All the images upload fine and all, but when i click media library, wordpress loads thumbnails, but the thumbnails itself are full sized files in thumbnail form !!
(image here: http://c2n.me/3rimX7R )This is making the media library load extremely slow…
I’m the only one to have this problem here?
I found this topic (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wordpress-media-library-loading-full-size-images-for-thumbnails): problem is WordPress don’t have a “medium sized images at the default size (300×300)”.
Indeed no such size in the library..I try to set RtMedia medium size from original 320×240 to 300×300, and rebuild all the thumbs, but when I check my activity stream NO IMAGES was showed, as the size (320×240) is hard coded in the template!
So, I redone all the thumb to 320×240…How to solve that?
I want to keep the size 320×240 for thumbs, but I want my media library show medium size image, or it will take a looooong time to load…Help.

Set that to match what you have in rtMedia (320×240). Then turn off crop for medium images in rtMedia settings. Regen thumbnails and your media library should now load the medium files. (that worked for me)
