Hi everyone,
I’ve added SSL to my wordpress site. ( even under construction )
Now I have problem with:
1) Revolution Slider doesn’t work, it’s all gray;
2)The login pop-up to register trough facebook doesn’t appear anymore: the login kleo button redirect only to registration page, but no pop up;
3) the site logo doesn’t resize anymore with the scrolling;
4) Other things – datepicker, geolocalization in Events Manager plugin: I know that is an external plugin, but you could help me even with suggestions to what to do.
So, I think that I have to change a lot of things because an https and http site are two different things: how can I fix these problems? How can I debug single problem to know what is the code I have to modify?
December 15, 2015 at 15:23 #93367sharmstrModeratorYou dont have to modify any code. Your server is still trying to load some content from http:// which is causing jquery errors. The login and the slider require clean jquery. The problem is probably due to caching on your server. If you have a caching plugin or cdn plugin, make sure to purge those. If that doesnt clear it up, contact your hosting provider for assistance. I’ve switched several Kleo sites over to SSL and clearing sever cache was all I had to do. Let me know how it goes.

December 17, 2015 at 13:53 #93818fersampParticipantI talked with my hosting provider but they didn’t manage to help me, they don’t know what the problem is.
🙁
What can I do? There are the same problems.December 17, 2015 at 14:43 #93827sharmstrModeratorLook for plugin conflicts. Disable everything except K-elements, rev slider and vc. You’re site is loading files over https now, but its throwing an error on a plugin in /appfbconnect.

December 17, 2015 at 19:44 #93921fersampParticipantYou were right, It was a plugin conflict, appPresser Facebook, I disactivated it and now it goes better.
But the facebook login button doesn’t work now, before doesn’t appear :-): when I click it, it appears a blank page for a moment but then it’s closed. In a short time I see https:// request in that page, but nothing else.
Where I can fix this problem?Can you help me to understand how login works?
I mean: I would like that people don’t see anything about wordpress, but have the impression of being on a professional site.
Facebook Login often doesn’t work and now even the registration page is blank.December 17, 2015 at 19:54 #93927sharmstrModeratorYou need to publish your facebook app. Follow the directions on their site.
You have mixed content errors again.

December 18, 2015 at 10:45 #94047fersampParticipantI still have problem with login, can you help me understand what problem is?
I registered a new facebook app and inserted the ID in miscellaneous theme option.
Now I have some problem:
1) With chrome and firefox, when I click login button popup is shown, but after the autentication on fb it doesn’t happen anything, the pop up it’s still open.
2) in internet explorer appear sometimes yes and other not:
“Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration: One or more of the given URLs is not allowed by the App’s settings. It must match the Website URL or Canvas URL, or the domain must be a subdomain of one of the App’s domains.”December 18, 2015 at 14:20 #94064sharmstrModeratorHere’s what I think you’re not understanding. Those messages are coming from Facebook, not Kleo. It means you haven’t set up your application correctly on Facebook. It has nothing to do with your settings in Theme Options. Go back to your facebook developer page and correct the error. Its telling you that the website URL that you have set up in facebook is wrong. Perhaps you didnt change it after moving your site?

“Multiorigine blocked request (cross-origin): the matching criterion of the origin does not allow reading of remote resource from https://www.dayroma.it/wp-login.php. Reason: CORS header “Access-Control-Allow-Origin” missing.”Sorry for my ignorance…
December 18, 2015 at 16:35 #94096fersampParticipantokok I think the problem is that I’m doing an https request from an http page…I don’t know why my home page is not https directly if you don’t write on the browser the link https://www.sitename.it… I’m contacting hosting service
December 18, 2015 at 16:36 #94098sharmstrModeratorExactly. I mentioned that in my vary first response. 🙂
