    Dear Support Team,

I have problems making translations with SweetDate.

I want to create a German translation. When i installed Loco translations there was already some language packages (also German). I tried to add some translations inside them but none of my changes were visible on the site yet. I also tried to create a new package in the global folder wp-content/languages/themes/. It created .po and .mo files there but again no changes on the site. I am running the child theme, do I have to create the language package in the sweetdate theme or sweetdate child theme?

Can you show me how I can for example turn the “SEARCH” button on the main page into “Suchen” (German) and also how I can change the language of the site?

I am looking forward for your help!

    Best regards,

    Paul

Hello, at Loco Translate, go to the language edition screen and click SYNC it should add new strings and delete obsolete ones. Now search for the strings to translate and you should find them 🙂
