Members Profile

Do i need a landing page? I ask this question because, I want members to log in and complete their profile information example: profile information (about me, my interest, physical, download picture, etc…) before the member is directed to the email confirmation. i want the email conformation to be the last to confirm the registered member.

Do I need a landing page: because,  i also want the member to have a pop u registry form before they can inter the website. i would like the pop up registry form to appear at the beginning of the website as soon as a person click on the website the pop up registry form would appear.  the member would have to sign up and register before entering the website. I do not want the member to inter the website without signing the registry form. Can you please tell me how I can apply this without creating a landing page.
