Hey Seventhqueen,

I have solved the issue,

i only had to readjust the file directory because the parent file was overlapped in another root directory.
wp-contents-theme-kleo-kleo

now i changed it to just wp-content -> theme -> kleo.

Works fine !

I have looked into the documentation.

But my qeustion is that once i have already been working with the parent theme and now i want to use it , how can i make use of the child theme without damaging or losing any files in the parent theme.

It seems to me that i have to restore with the original parent and child themes in order to activate the child theme in wordpress.

Could you please give me with an idea to solve my problem??

the documentation only tells how to upload but how to solve this kind of situation.

do i have to do something in order to activate the child theme at this point ??

The wordpress appearance -> theme -> shows that the child theme is not properly uploaded when i dont see anything wrong in uploading process.

please help.
