How can I modify the text in the register form of the homepage?

which file has to be changed and where is it placed?

You will have to go to wp-admin -> theme options -> buddypress -> Search form customization -> MAIN FORM – > Text before form

Doesn’t matter the language the path is the same, if you navigate to location that i have provided to you, you cannot find that text ? just follow with careful the path wp-admin -> theme options -> buddypress -> Search form customization -> MAIN FORM – > Text before form

I have a register form on the homepage not a search form

The file responsible for that text is : /wp-content/themes/sweetdate/page-parts/home-register-form.php line 28.
You can copy this file to wp-content/themes/sweetdate-child/page-parts/ for update proof

ThanksIn this case you will have to look in your language file .mo that can be in wp-content/languages/fr_FR.mo or wp-content/themes/sweetdate/languages/fr_FR.mo search for “Registering for this site is” after you find that under line with that text you will see msgstr form there you will have to edit your text

I modified the file wp-content/themes/sweetdate/languages/fr_FR.mo
in an online editor and then my site is translated in english only
I can’t put it back in French

Please contact your hosting provide and ask them to increase the php memory to 128 or 256 please, i’ve tried to increase it but it seems that i’m not allowed

It was about location of the language files and also for the name of the lang files
The current path of you lang files are, in past it was in another location with other name
wp-content/languages/themes/kleo_framework-fr_FR.po and
wp-content/languages/themes/kleo_framework-fr_FR.mohttps://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/translation-where-to-put-mo-file
