November 16, 2016 at 00:46 #144374RoaderParticipantOkey bella! voy a Probar.
November 16, 2016 at 01:38 #144382RoaderParticipantQ Translate X solo sirve para posts y páginas desafortunadamente.
November 16, 2016 at 07:20 #144394RoaderParticipantLaura… SweetDate soporta WordPress Multisitio?

November 24, 2016 at 02:09 #145164RoaderParticipantHola Laura, respondiendo por aquí.
November 25, 2016 at 09:50 #145293LauraModeratorBueno, si por ahora funciona genial 🙂

November 26, 2016 at 00:42 #145360RoaderParticipantSí, pero debo revisar si el qtranslate traduce los widgets.
Otra pregunta.

December 4, 2016 at 19:06 #145991RoaderParticipantHola Laura!
function
if qtranstalex is active …
field 1= “Name” => “your translation here”if text = “Hard text to translate normally” => “your translation here”

I can see that qTranslateX works with Custom-Fields or BuddyPress Fields because these fields or texts are in en_En.po or es_Es.po (Theme / languages).
But, qTranslateX does not work with my own custom fields or texts.
So, give me a php code (for function.php or whatever) to translate field, id, label, and text if qTranslate is active.
For example:
field 1= “Name” => “your translation here”if text = “Hard text to translate normally” => “your translation here”
I read this, but I dont know how I can use it.
And… How I can force qTranslate to translate a text. For example, qTrans, can’t:

I installed qTranslateX and Buddypress extended profile translation (for translate the custom fields), but, Bp extended p… does not work now. When you use qTrans… lang switcher (Es or En) Bp extended keeps displaying only the translation (Spanish in this case), does not change to English again. So, I think that the solution is to use custom code.
Radu, I dont have any code or strings to help!
For this reason Im asking for your help! Please, see the links in ==> #146027

Radu, I did try with these, but dont work.
But, I think that you can help.Custom Code: If qtranslatex is active…
$ “your original text, field or id” ===> “your translation here”
This is only just example.
By default, qTrans. cant transl >

December 8, 2016 at 15:11 #146431RaduModeratorHi,
I don’t have custom code for your need.
But the theme can be translated with success using loco translate or any other capable module to translate
Forgot Your Username or Password? can be translated by searching in po/mo files or with loco translate or with any other plugin just search and translate those strings, you will have to search in kleo_framework domain or in buddypress
Serious dating with Sweet date can be translated from : http://seventhqueen.com/public-files/radu/Sweetdate__Sweetdate_development__WordPress_2016-12-08_15-07-28.png
Please stop to ask for custom codes and work because the support covers only theme problems and small customizations.
Below it’s the translation procedure that works 100% and rest of the users can translate completly their website.
Theme strings and plugins strings can easily be changed by using Loco Translate plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/
A small introduction on how translations work
Translatable strings can come from the theme or from the installed plugins. You need to translate the theme or the plugin depending on what section of the site your string is found.
For example if your string is on your BuddyPress profile then most probably you will need to translate BuddyPress plugin. If you are on the Forums section of your site then bbPress plugin should be the one that needs to be translated. Another example is the rtMedia plugin that adds the Media links to BuddyPress and if you want to translate it then this plugin will contain the string.
Follow these steps to get you started:
- Install Loco Translate plugin
- Go to the plugin dashboard: WP Admin – Tools – Manage translations
- Find the theme or plugin in the list.
- If the language isn’t already in the list then click Add new language, choose your language and if you are asked where you want to save the language files choose global language directory ( wp-content/languages/ ).
- Press SYNC button to synchronise your translation with the provided .pot file
- Search for the string you want to translate and add your translated string.
- Press Save when you finished your translation.
Note: You will have to set the language for your blog from WP-admin – Settings – General – Site Language – Choose your language
Cheers

Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionDecember 10, 2016 at 20:01 #146645RoaderParticipantNew words in the SD Theme.
Because, words like: Marital Status, City, Relationship, are added.
qTranslateX has can translate these. But, if you create a New Field, qTranslateX cant.
And I DONT WANT MORE PLUGINS… More Plugins = WP Slow, WP more vulnerable.
For this reason, I prefer safe Php Code.December 10, 2016 at 20:07 #146646RoaderParticipantI cant add new words in source.
But, I think there is a way for that.
Whatever, the solution for translating problem is: A php code in function.php or whatever.php
if exist “original-english–text” (word, id, or whatever) ==> “translate-text”;

Check it.Attachments:
You must be logged in to view attached files.December 13, 2016 at 17:04 #146906RaduModeratorThere is no PHP code to provide for that.
Strings like those : Marital Status, City, Relationship can be added/edited from wp-admin -> users -> profile fields.
For translation strings, most probably there are some encoded character, correct it on your language if it’s not rendered correctly

COPY CODE// Load translation files from your child theme instead of the parent theme function child_theme_slug_setup() { load_child_theme_textdomain( 'sweetdate', get_stylesheet_directory() . '/languages' ); } add_action( 'after_setup_theme', 'sweetdate_theme_slug_setup' );

January 18, 2017 at 07:15 #150075RoaderParticipantSaludos otra vez.
