The website says you’re on version 4.3.2, but I have installed 4.3.3 from Themeforest. Since then, this error has cropped up.

Theme and all plugins–and WordPress is up-to-date.
Numerous users are reporting the “Sorry, an error occurred.” — I tested with my test user, my admin users, etc. and the same thing is happening. Some people seem to be able to reset their passwords.
I’m trying to find out if changes in the theme 4.3.3 affected the password reset system.

February 26, 2018 at 03:31 #189848canbeepParticipantYes – I found that on my own – on Themeforest.
You’re not answering my question. I’m seeing “Sorry, an Error Occurred.” and known users cannot reset their passwords on my site.
My question is what has changed recently — in the last 2-3 theme updates that could account for this and how do I fix it.
February 27, 2018 at 01:23 #189935LauraModeratorHello, before anything have you tried to deactivate other plugins and test again? so we can see if its related to the theme or to a third party plugin
