Using custom TOP menu I would like to put a link for non logged in users: “Register | Login”
For logged in users it should display his/her name, and once you put mouse cursor over it, it should display profile options like messages, notifications and in the end log out.Please see this happening on http://www.buddydev.com they are doing exactly same. Please check the top right corner of this website before and after logging in.

ModeratorIf you search this forum, you will see a lot of topics on adding the login | register or user avatar if they are logged in. Not exactly what you asked for. If you dont want the default functionality as explained below, then you’d have to write your code for that or use a plugin.
