    I’m getting errors when trying to import the default theme data (each post/attachment fails). Any advice on how to get this working?

    Hello, what are your file permissions? make wp-content and all the subfolders or just the upload folder 775 or 777 and test it again

    Hi Laura,

    Thanks for your reply. I’ve made both /wp-content/ and /wp-content/uploads/ 777 but unfortunately the import still fails.

    I also checked the database user settings and it seems like the user should have the credentials to do this.

    Could there be something else causing the failure?

    Hello, are you using an admin user? Do you have access to your database?

    I do have access to the database and am logged in to WordPress as an admin.
