How do I translate these fields in red(look link – http://i.imgur.com/fb1xkDc.png)? Where I trade this currency symbol “$”? Even using the CodeStyling Localization am having many complications to translate!
October 23, 2013 at 01:26 #4934SQadminKeymasterThe currency is set from PMPRO plugin settings and you can’t translate that(you can imagine values won’t be the same, etc ).
Other texts are found in the PMPRO plugin. SO you need to translate the plugin and not the Sweetdate themeHi there!!! Not in the backend using codestyling localization nor after downloading it and opening it with poedit.
For example: View members directory
This simply does not exist in the pmpro-nb_NO.po file for some reason. Any ideas?
October 23, 2013 at 19:51 #4979SQadminKeymasterAnd where is “View members directory”?
Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionOctober 24, 2013 at 01:54 #5009twoshoesParticipantWhat is strange is that some strings are translated while others are not, see the screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zpv4bga1mg52phd/screen2.jpg
The green outlines have been correctly translated, while the red outlines have not. They are translated but they still show as english.
And some strings, like the “View members directory” in the example above, I cannot even find. It’s like they don’t exist.
October 24, 2013 at 03:23 #5024duilio_webbParticipanttranslate this theme is a nightmare!
I’m able to translate, but I use dreamweaver to find the files. do a search for the word or phrase, I change the word or phrase and send to the required folder.
look this:
October 24, 2013 at 13:29 #5034SQadminKeymasterHi @twoshoes,
You are right, those two sentences from the checkout page have been modified and they will be translated form the theme strings within the “kleo_framework” domain. Please replace your wp-content/themes/sweetdate/paid-memberships-pro/pages/checkout.php file with this https://archived.seventhqueen.com/files/checkout.txt and then using Codestyling Localization rescan the files and you will be able to translated those 2 sentences.I see what you mean by “View members directory”. Those are added by our theme in conjunction with the PMPRO plugin so you will find those strings in Sweetdate strings under the kleo_framework domain.
Cheers
Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionOctober 24, 2013 at 13:34 #5035SQadminKeymasterHi,
See the above answer related to those 2 phrases in the checkout page. You should not replace the strings in files when translating. Please use Codestyling Localization plugin to translate your theme.
Thanks
It should not be a nightmare 🙂 Plugin strings, even if we have some templates to override original ones from the plugin, are translated in the plugin folder. If we modify some default strings in the template(like is the case here with those 2 phrases from the checkout page) then those should have the ‘kleo_framework’ domain and should be translated in out theme.
We just missed to change the domain from pmpro to kleo_framework.Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionOctober 25, 2013 at 02:34 #5100twoshoesParticipantWell I have looked everywhere, and double and tripple checked. Some of the strings simply do not exist. Like for example: “Upgrade account” in the profile page next to your username. And like the “Select” button in the membership levels tables. And “My photos” in the members profile tab. To name just a few. I have many more like these, that I simply cannot find, and this is a problem I have had since I first installed this theme.
Don’t get me wrong, I do love this theme, but yes….it is indeed a nightmare to translate. And I have used Codestyling Localization since the beginning, plus I have tried solving issues using Poedit too.
Now, I still have issues translating the membership tables, like the “View members directory” that I mentioned earlier in this topic. Yes I have followed your instructions, however, despite the fact that I have found and translated these strings, they simply do not show in my own language.

Needless to say, I am a bit confused at the moment 🙂 hehe.
October 26, 2013 at 00:38 #5141duilio_webbParticipantPlease, what file do I translate the MONTH field? Somebody help me? Look at the picture! Thanks ….
October 26, 2013 at 08:45 #5163duilio_webbParticipantI’m posting because I can not, using the Localization Codestyling! Where do I translate these fields(hours, minutes, seconds)? which file? Look at the picture, please! thanks.
October 26, 2013 at 16:22 #5172SQadminKeymasterHi,
I did changes again to some files so those strings now will show translated. Some strings from the PMPRO plugin also had some problems.Until next update, extract these files and replace them in your sweetdate main theme: https://archived.seventhqueen.com/files/sweetdate_trans_fix.zip
the “Select”, “Upgrade account”, “My photos” string can now be found under Sweetdate theme
View members.. and other should appear translated now if you have added themLet me know if you encounter other problems.

Here’s a couple places I still can’t translate though:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/y9ywryvs78iyywq/screen5.jpg1. The popular banner on the membership levels page.
2. The cancel or keep membership.
3. The uploaded a new picture on the site activity page.October 28, 2013 at 15:58 #5261SQadminKeymasterHi,
Thanks for pointing this out.
1. That is an image added with css. Upload your image in the child theme and add the css with the according image path:COPY CODE.membership .pricing-table.popular:after { background: url("../images/pop.png") no-repeat scroll center center rgba(0, 0, 0, 0); }
2. Please replace the content of this file sweetdate/paid-memberships-pro/pages/cancel.php with: http://d.pr/n/eCvH
Then rescan the strings and should appear in the Sweetdate translation kleo_framework domain3. is related to bpAlbum. If you are using the one that comes with the theme follow this tutorial: https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/where-to-translate-bp-album

January 6, 2014 at 02:38 #9174AbeKeymasterHi, Some strings may be part of other plugins, here Buddypress probably. Using Codestyling localization plugin you can translate the theme and plugins also.
After you translate the strings don’t forget to click the button to generate the .mo fileHi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solution---
